They do things as this in order to see who comes forth as offended so they can basically narrow down how many true followers of Christ are left. Stay in the cleft of the Rock, hide into the secret chambers of Jesus Christ and do not forget it will get worse.
Share the Gospel with others, but, be led by the Holy Spirit and do not be an instigater but be a reconciler instead.

I read a few articles on this Olympic Opening ceremony today after avoiding looking at anything about it. I’d say this is a measuring stick in two ways. It also shows how debauched western society has become. Emmanuel Macron (terrible first name for this man), the President of France, had nothing but positive things to say about the ceremony and said France had a lot to be proud about because of it. Which shows how sick that man is, definitely a worthy successor to the debauched excesses of the French Revolution.
There are a lot of Catholics and Orthodox reacting negatively to this, and I foresee the pendulum swinging against this obvious Sodom and Gomorrah-style sickness in the west with a return to traditional Catholicism that will smash all the fake Protestant, Baptist, and Evangelical churches. Then the Catholic church will get what it wants, as it will finally target true Christians in those churches as well to destroy their true enemies, all the while claiming we are part of the reason the west has fallen so far. The current Pope Francis is very liberal, but considering it is Satan and his spirits working behind the Catholic church, it could very well be that whoever replaces Francis swings the other way toward classic Catholicism that rules with an iron fist, and will pretend to be a “beacon of moral light” against the immoral west.
Just a bunch of thoughts on the matter, and it is speculation based upon these current events including this wicked opening ceremony. As a historicist, it will be interesting to see how the fall of this great Harlot actually occurs considering all these things. It is obvious that the power system that the Catholic church uses, the nations she rules over, will be the very ones to destroy her. As it states in Revelation, that the ten horns of the beast will hate the whore and burn her with fire.
