Luke
4:13 And when the deuil had ended all the tentation, he departed from him for a litle season.
Okay…that scripture tells us after tempting the LORD that the devil departed from Him for “a little season”…am I wrong on that???
Now when Jesus Christ was baptized I believe he was going on 30 in just a very few short days. Why?
Luke
3:23 And Iesus himselfe began to bee about thirtie yeere of age, being as men supposed the sonne of Ioseph, which was the sonne of Eli,
After many hours of studying the Cross and having to connect so many scriptures together I believe that Jesus Christ was born on what we call the Feast of Trumpets (which is only ONE day not 2 and it is commanded to make a loud noise, rejoicing blowing trumpets). Many believe He was born on Tabernacles, but that is not possible because then Joseph and the shepherds would have been in the City of Jerusalem and not working first off, secondly everyone would have made boothes to sleepin under the sky and not in inns. Also, the announcing and proclaiming of the king was done on this Feast also.
I must add to this, that today things were opened up much more to me than my first study on the cross in 2003 I believe it was. I was not planning on doing ac4-5 hour study but I am so thankful I did.
I also believe that John and Jesus both started their ministry during a Sabbath year when the land was to rest for a year and that is how multitudes had leisure time to hear and follow Him preach. I also believe with that particular Sabbath year the following year was the Jubilee year. Search this out for yourselves please.
1 Kings
1:39And Zadok the Priest tooke an horne of oyle out of the Tabernacle, and anointed Salomon: and they blewe the trumpet, and all the people said, God saue king Salomon.1:40And all the people came vp after him, and the people piped with pipes, and reioyced with great ioye, so that the earth rang with the sound of them.

10:10 Also in the day of your gladnesse, and in your feast dayes, and in the beginning of your moneths, ye shall also blow the trumpets ouer your burnt sacrifices, and ouer your peace offrings, that they may be a remembrance for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.
“Jesus Christ was born on September 11, 3 B.C sometime in that eighty-one minute span of time between 6:18pm and 7:39pm. Amazingly this corresponds to Tishri 1 on the Jewish Calendar which is the First day of the festival of the Feast of Trumpets.”
Also, there was the Revelation 12 conjunction going on over head,
“On September 11, 3 B.C., a significant astronomical event occurred involving a conjunction of Jupiter and Regulus in the constellation Leo, often interpreted as the Star of Bethlehem. This coincided with the sun “clothing” the constellation Virgo and the moon appearing at her feet, a scene matching the description in Revelation 12:1.
Key Astronomical and Symbolic Details (Sept 11, 3 B.C.)
Conjunction of Jupiter and Regulus: Jupiter (the “King planet”) came into close conjunction with Regulus (the “King star” or Cor Leonis) in the constellation Leo (the Lion/Judah). This occurred in the dawn hours, with the first of a series of triple conjunctions happening around this time.
The Revelation 12 Sign: According to astronomical software calculations, on the evening of September 11, 3 B.C. (beginning of Tishri 1, 3759 on the Hebrew calendar), the sun was in the center of Virgo (clothing her), and the moon was situated under her feet.
Visibility and Time: This “clothed with the sun” phenomenon was visible in Palestine around sunset, roughly 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., with the moon setting shortly after.
Significance: Many researchers connect these events with the birth of Jesus Christ, interpreting the alignment as a heavenly sign of the birth of a king.
While some scholars hold that this specific configuration points to September 11, 3 B.C. as the birth date of Jesus, other analyses suggest different dates based on varying interpretations of historical, biblical, and astronomical data (e.g., 6 B.C. or 2 B.C.).”
With Regulus being the (KING) star that would shine the brightest near this event, I believe is the reference from the Old Testament prophecy.
Numbers
24:17 I shall see him, but not nowe: I shall behold him, but not neere: there shall come a starre of Iaakob, and a scepter shall rise of Israel, and shall smite the coastes of Moab, and destroy all the sonnes of Sheth.
Which would be the star the magi spoke of.
Matthew
2:1 When Jesus then was borne at Bethleem in Iudea, in the dayes of Herod the King, beholde, there came Wisemen from the East to Hierusalem,2:2Saying, Where is that King of the Iewes that is borne? for wee haue seene his starre in the East, and are come to worship him.

29:1 Moreouer, in the first day of the seuenth moneth ye shall haue an holy conuocation: ye shall doe no seruile worke therein: it shall be a day of blowing the trumpets vnto you.
Luke
2:8 And there were in the same countrey shepheards, abiding in the fielde, and keeping watch by night ouer their flocke.
2:9 And loe, the Angel of the Lord came vpon them, and the glorie of the Lord shone about them, and they were sore afraide.
2:10 Then the Angel saide vnto them, Be not afraid: for behold, I bring you glad tidings of great ioy, that shalbe to all the people,
2:11 That is, that vnto you is borne this day in the citie of Dauid, a Sauiour, which is Christ the Lord.
2:12 And this shalbe a signe to you, Yee shall finde the babe swadled, and laid in a cratch.
2:13 And straightway there was with the Angel a multitude of heauenly souldiers, praising God, and saying,
2:14 Glory be to God in the high heauens, and peace in earth, and towards men good will.
2:15 And it came to passe whe the Angels were gone away from them into heauen, that the shepheards sayde one to another, Let vs goe then vnto Beth-leem, and see this thing that is come to passe which the Lord hath shewed vnto vs.
2:16 So they came with haste, and founde both Marie and Ioseph, and the babe laid in the cratch.
2:17 And when they had seene it, they published abroade the thing, that was tolde them of that childe.
Leviticus
23:23 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
23:24 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, In the seuenth moneth, and in the first day of the moneth shall ye haue a Sabbath, for the remembrance of blowing the trumpets, an holy conuocation.
23:25 Ye shall do no seruile worke therein, but offer sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
Yes it is commanded no servile work, you must understand the shepheards that had flocks had to keep watching over them even on sabbaths and feasts there was no fences to keep them in, they were on pastures grazing and if unattended they would wonder off, be attacked by predators, posdibly fall into a ditch and break a leg. Remember what Jesus said to the Pharisees anout how the Priest works on the Sabbath and which one of them if they had a lamb fall into a ditch would not pull it out. The Oral traditions added more in the people by adding stricter laws to bind them.
The reason I mention this is because we need to pinpoint how long a “little season” in the Gospels is. And I did not want to leave you hanging and possibly confused on why I say I believe it was on Trumpets.
There could be so much more added but then it would be so much because I would be going down different paths in order to explain everything in detail. So, again I strongly urge all to study this out for yourselves please.
Okay so now I have shown why I believe Jesus turned 30 in the wilderness, and Satan tempted Him there.
I believe also that Jesus was baptized before He turned 30. How long before His birthday on Trumpets? Let’s connect a few things together and see.
“The 40 Days of Teshuvah is a sacred annual period of repentance, reflection, and returning to God, spanning from the first of the Hebrew month of Elul until the end of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). This season (typically starting in late August) echoes Moses’ 40 days on Mount Sinai seeking mercy.
40 Days of Teshuvah:
Timing: Begins on Rosh Chodesh Elul (1st of Elul) and concludes at the end of Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement).
Purpose: Teshuvah means “return,” focusing on returning to God’s purpose, repenting for sins, and purifying the heart.
Significance of 40 Days: The number 40 in Scripture is linked to testing, judgment, renewal, and new beginnings (e.g., Moses on Sinai, the flood, the wilderness).
Customs:
Shofar Blowing: From Elul 1, the shofar is blown daily (except Shabbat) to awaken the soul for repentance.
Psalm 27: Commonly recited daily during this period.
Spiritual Inspection: A time to review deeds and correct one’s course.
The “Days of Favor”: Known as a time when God is particularly near and receptive to prayers, offering a special opportunity for atonement.
This period serves as a spiritual “reset,” allowing individuals to mend relationships with God and others before the new year is sealed on Yom Kippur.
“The Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) are the 10 sacred days in Judaism beginning with Rosh Hashanah (New Year) and ending with Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). Yes, the 10 Days of Awe (Yamim Nora’im) are the final, most intense 10 days of the 40-day period of Teshuvah (repentance). The 40 days begin on the 1st of Elul and culminate on Yom Kippur, with the Days of Awe starting on Rosh Hashanah and ending on Yom Kippur.
The Overlap:
40 Days of Teshuvah (Elul 1 – Day of Atonement): This is a 40-day period of repentance, prayer, and self-examination, often associated with the time Moses spent on Mount Sinai.
The 40 days of Teshuvah would correspond with,

Matthew
3:13 Then came Iesus from Galile to Iordan vnto Iohn, to be baptized of him.
3:14 But Iohn earnestly put him backe, saying, I haue neede to be baptized of thee, and commest thou to me?
3:15 Then Iesus answering, saide to him, Let be nowe: for thus it becommeth vs to fulfill all righteousnes. So he suffered him.
3:16 And Iesus when hee was baptized, came straight out of the water. And lo, the heaues were opened vnto him, and Iohn saw the Spirit of God descending like a doue, and lighting vpon him.
3:17 And loe, a voyce came from heauen, saying, This is my beloued Sonne, in whome I am well pleased.
Days of Awe (Trumpets – Atonement): Known as Aseret Yemei Teshuvah (Ten Days of Return), this is the final 10 days of the 40-day period.
The first 30 days (month of Elul) are used to prepare for the high holy days. The final 10 days, beginning with Rosh Hashanah, are considered the most intense period for repentance, when judgment is said to be sealed on Yom Kippur.
Both periods are designed to move individuals toward a closer relationship with God and personal renewal.
Jesus having come to fulfill the Law though could not be in the Wilderness on the Feast of Tabernacles. He had to be in Jerusalem in order to fulfill a law.
Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in the yeere shall all the males appeare before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall chuse: in the feast of the vnleauened bread, and in the feast of the weekes, and in the feast of the Tabernacles: and they shall not appeare before the Lord emptie.
Leviticus 23:33 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
23:34 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, In the fifteenth day of this seueth moneth shalbe for seuen dayes the feast of Tabernacles vnto the Lord.
23:35 In the first day shalbe an holie conuocation: ye shall do no seruile worke therein.
23:36 Seuen daies ye shall offer sacrifice made by fire vnto the Lord, and in the eight day shalbe an holy conuocation vnto you, and ye shall offer sacrifices made by fire vnto the Lord: it is the solemne assemblie, yee shall doe no seruile worke therein.
The Feast of Tabernacles is on the 15th day, Trumpets on the 1st and Atonement on the 10th.
Luke 4:13 And when the deuil had ended all the tentation, he departed from him for a litle season.
4:14 And Iesus returned by the power of the spirite into Galile: and there went a fame of him throughout all the region round about.
4:15 For he taught in their Synagogues, and was honoured of all men.
4:16 And hee came to Nazareth where hee had bene brought vp, and (as his custome was) went into the Synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stoode vp to reade.
4:17 And there was deliuered vnto him the booke of the Prophet Esaias: and when hee had opened the booke, hee founde the place, where it was written,
4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is vpon mee, because he hath anoynted me, that I should preach the Gospel to the poore: he hath sent mee, that I should heale the broken hearted, that I should preach deliuerance to the captiues, and recouering of sight to the blinde, that I should set at libertie them that are bruised:
4:19 And that I should preache the acceptable yeere of the Lord.
4:20 And hee closed the booke, and gaue it againe to the minister, and sate downe: and the eyes of all that were in the Synagogue were fastened on him.
I am of the belief that in that year on the day of Atonement was the beginning of the Jubilee years as well. Giving the people 2 years of rest as well as the ability to hear and follow first John then Jesus Christ.
What Jesus read in the synagogue from Isaiah 61 for me it is a tall tell statement on why, I believe this.
Isaiah 61:1-2a The Spirit of the Lord God is vpon mee, therefore hath the Lord anoynted mee: hee hath sent mee to preache good tidings vnto the poore, to binde vp the broken hearted, to preach libertie to the captiues, and to them that are bound, the opening of the prison, To preache the acceptable yeere of the Lord
Isaiah 61 is closely associated with the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) and the Jubilee Year (a “Sabbath of Sabbaths”), as both celebrate divine provision, release, and freedom, echoing the themes in the chapter. While not universally part of the modern 1-year Torah reading cycle, some scholars suggest it was historically linked to this period.
Isaiah 61:1-2, which focuses on proclaiming the “year of the Lord’s favor,” aligns with the themes of the Jubilee cycle, which is announced on the Day of Atonement and implemented during the following Sukkot. The chapter is considered a messianic prophecy of hope, comfort, and restoration. According to some scholars, ancient triennial synagogue reading cycles placed this passage near the autumn festivals (including Tabernacles). Luke 4:16-21 records Jesus reading this specific passage in the synagogue, marking it as a fulfilled prophecy which is extremely significant.
In addition to the Jubilee connection, the themes of restoration and “comforting those who mourn” in Zion are central to the spirit of the Tabernacles season.
With all of that said there is one final point.
Jesus’ public ministry lasted approximately 3 1/2 years, spanning from his baptism to his crucifixion and resurrection. While the Bible does not explicitly state this clear, it is pretty much based on four Passover feasts mentioned in the Gospel of John, wh8ch covers the span of 3 1/2 years, as well as prophetic timelines, particularly in Daniel chapter 9. Let me show you please.
The Gospel of John mentions at least 4 separate Passovers.
The first one was after the wedding in Cana. John 2:12 After that, he went downe into Capernaum, he and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: but they continued not many daies there.
2:13 For the Iewes Passeouer was at hande. Therefore Iesus went vp to Hierusalem.
2:14 And he found in the Temple those that sold oxen, and sheepe, and doues, and changers of money, sitting there.
2:15 Then hee made a scourge of small cordes, and draue them all out of the Temple with the sheepe and oxen, and powred out the changers money, and ouerthrewe the tables,
2:16 And said vnto them that solde doues, Take these things hence: make not my fathers house, an house of marchandise.
The second Passover:
5:1 After that, there was a feast of the Iewes, and Iesus went vp to Hierusalem.
5:2 And there is at Hierusalem by the place of the sheepe, a poole called in Ebrew Bethesda, hauing fiue porches:
5:3 In the which lay a great multitude of sicke folke, of blinde, halte, and withered, wayting for the mouing of the water.
5:4 For an Angel went downe at a certaine season into the poole, and troubled the water: whosoeuer then first, after the stirring of the water, stepped in, was made whole of whatsoeuer disease he had. Okay this is one Passover that is overlooked. This cannot be Pentecost which is the wheat harvest that is only 50 days after the Firstfruit harvest nor can it be the fruit harvest which is olives and grapes and that is in the fall. Why do I say this? Let’s investigate 🔎. The first Passover is in Ch. 2 after Jesus first miracle, let’s go to chapter.
John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet foure moneths, and then commeth haruest? Beholde, I say vnto you, Lift vp your eyes, and looke on the regions: for they are white alreadie vnto haruest.
This is after the first Passover and time has passed, I believe almost at minimum 8 months. Why? Because Jesus said the harvest was yet for 4 months so that cannot be the wheat harvest and it is not the fruit harvest it can only mean the barely harvest which is one the Feast of firstfruits!!! Which is AFTER PASSOVER!!!
The 3rd Passover:
6:3 Then Iesus went vp into a mountaine, and there he sate with his disciples.
6:4 Now the Passeouer, a feast of the Iewes, was neere.
6:5 Then Iesus lift vp his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude came vnto him, hee sayde vnto Philippe, Whence shall we buy breade, that these might eate?
The 4th and final Passover:
11:53 Then from that day foorth they consulted together, to put him to death.
11:54 Iesus therefore walked no more openly among the Iewes, but went thence vnto a countrey neere to the wildernes, into a citie called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
11:55 And the Iewes Passeouer was at hande, and many went out of the countrey vp to Hierusalem before the Passeouer, to purifie themselues.
11:56 Then sought they for Iesus, and spake among themselues, as they stoode in the Temple, What thinke ye, that he cometh not to the feast?
11:57 Now both the high Priestes and the Pharises had giuen a commandement, that if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.
27 AD Jesus was baptised, then He turns 30 in the wilderness, 6 months prior, John had turned 30, being 6 months older than Jesus, and is why his ministry of preparing the way was needed to be first.
The beginning of the New Year is in the month of Nisan;
Exodus 12:2 This moneth shalbe vnto you the beginning of moneths: it shalbe to you the first moneth of the yere.
12:3 Speake ye vnto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth of this moneth let euery man take vnto him a lambe, according to the house of the fathers, a lambe for an house.
12:4 And if the housholde be too litle for the lambe, he shall take his neighbour, which is next vnto his house, according to the nomber of the persons: euery one of you, according to his eating shall make your count for the lambes,
12:5 Your lambe shalbe without blemish, a male of a yeere olde: ye shall take it of the lambes, or of the kiddes.
12:6 And yee shall keepe it vntill the fourteenth day of this moneth: then al the multitude of the Congregation of Israel shall kill it at euen.
So the New Year and Passover is in first month which is called Nisan. What people are not aware of, is there is NOT TWO NEW YEARS ON GODS CALENDER! There is not a New Years as taught falling on the Feast of Trumpets, that was added during the Babylonian captivity in which the pagans celebrated two new years one in the fall one in the spring which those in captivity added to their feasts, not God.
Keeping that in mind now, Jesus was 30 years and 6 months old when He celebrated His first Passover during His ministry. Which would have been year 28AD.
27-28AD Trumpets =1year. 28-29AD= Trumpets =2 years 29-30AD=Trumpets =3 years. 3 Passovers during His ministry 31 AD Passover=6 months from Trumpets. Was the 4th and final Passover equaling 33 1/2 Years old and 3 1/2 years of ministry.
This timeframe aligns with the prophecy in Daniel 9:27, which states the Messiah would be “cut off” in the middle of a “week” (a prophetic week of years), effectively splitting a 7-year period and ending sacrifices through his death. In 31 AD, Passover fell on a Wednesday, and Jesus was crucified that day. He rose early on Saturday morning (the Sabbath), fulfilling the “three days and three nights” prophecy.
He died before the sun went down around 3pm. The day after Passover is a High Sabbath it is the beginning of the feast of first fruits, it WAS NOT THE WEEKLY SABBATH so they had to hurry get His body down, wrapped, and put in sepulcare with stone rolled in front and get back home ALL BEFORE SUNDOWN. As soon as He died is the countdown.
3 pm Wed to 3 pm Thursday 1 night 1 day
3 pm Thursday to 3 pm Friday 2nd night 2nd day
3 pm Friday to 3 pm Saturday 3 nights and 3 days He rose ON THE 3RD DAY AS WELL!
OKAY now to the FINALE
John 13:26 Iesus answered, He it is, to whome I shall giue a soppe, when I haue dipt it: and hee wet a soppe, and gaue it to Iudas Iscariot, Simons sonne.
13:27 And after the soppe, Satan entred into him. Then sayd Iesus vnto him, That thou doest, doe quickly.
3 1/2 years later Satan shows back up….it would appear according to Scripture “a little season” is 3 1/2 years…not sure what else to say.
God bless and please study this yourself.
