My thoughts About the 144,000

I began thinking about this yesterday, how a seed does not produce unless it is sown in the earth and dies first, then, life begins to spring forth and out of 1 seed a multitude of fruit bearing seeds are produced.

Then again I was thinking about in,
Acts
2:5 And there were dwelling at Hierusalem Iewes, men that feared God, of euery nation vnder heauen.

Acts
2:44 And all that beleeued, were in one place, and had all things common.
2:45 And they sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all me, as euery one had need.
2:46 And they continued dayly with one accord in the Temple, and breaking bread at home, did eate their meate together with gladnesse and singlenesse of heart,
2:47 Praysing God, and had fauour with all the people: and the Lord added to the Church from day to day, such as should be saued.

(God is NOT a socialist I want to make clear as some teach. They sold what they had because they knew time was short and they were at the end of that age, which was Jacobs trouble coming to pass in that generation, so they gave all in order for as many as possible would be saved).

We know that all 12 tribes were there on Pentecost because of the law given.
Exodus
23:15 Thou shalt keepe the feast of vnleauened bread: thou shalt eate vnleauened bread seue dayes, as I commanded thee, in the season of the moneth of Abib: for in it thou camest out of Egypt: and none shall appeare before me emptie:
23:16 The feast also of the haruest of the first fruites of thy labours, which thou hast sowen in the fielde: and the feast of gathering fruites in the ende of the yere, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the fielde.
23:17 These three times in the yeere shall all thy men children appeare before the Lord Iehouah.

Deuteronomy
16:16 Three times in the yeere shall all the males appeare before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall chuse: in the feast of the vnleauened bread, and in the feast of the weekes, and in the feast of the Tabernacles: and they shall not appeare before the Lord emptie.

All of this came to me when I read James yesterday, that is why at the close I fumbled with my closing words, the following verses jumped out at me.

James
5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, vnto the comming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman wayteth for the precious fruite of the earth, and hath long patience for it, vntill he receiue the former, and the latter rayne.
5:8 Be ye also patient therefore and settle your hearts: for ye comming of the Lord draweth neere.

Immediately I thought of these scriptures about the 144,000
Revelation
14:1 Then I looked, and lo, a Lambe stood on mount Sion, and with him an hundreth, fourtie and foure thousand, hauing his Fathers Name written in their foreheads.
14:2 And I heard a voyce from heauen, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of a great thunder: and I heard the voyce of harpers harping with their harpes.
14:3 And they sung as it were a newe song before the throne, and before the foure beasts, and the Elders: and no man could learne that song, but the hundreth, fourtie and foure thousand, which were bought from the earth.
14:4 These are they, which are not defiled with women: for they are virgins: these follow the Lambe whithersoeuer he goeth: these are bought from men, being the first fruites vnto God, and to the Lambe.
14:5 And in their mouthes was found no guile: for they are without spot before the throne of God.
JAMES
1:1 Iames a seruant of God, and of the Lord Iesus Christ, to the twelue Tribes, which are scattered abroade, salutation.

Is it possible James was writing to those who would be or was already apart of the 144,000? He is writing directly to the 12 tribes that were scatterd abroad, right? And did it begin at the Feast of Weeks with Peter preaching after they received the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Revelation
7:1 And after that, I sawe foure Angels stand on the foure corners of the earth, holding the foure windes of the earth, that the winds should not blow on the earth, neither on the sea, neither on any tree.
7:2 And I sawe another Angel come vp from the East, which had the seale of the liuing God, and hee cried with a loud voice to the foure Angels to who power was giuen to hurt the earth, and the sea, saying,
7:3 Hurt ye not the earth, neither the sea, neither the trees, til we haue sealed the seruants of our God in their foreheads.
7:4 And I heard the number of them, which were sealed, and there were sealed an hundreth and foure and fourtie thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Revelation
9:1 And the fifth Angel blew the trumpet, and I saw a starre fall from heauen vnto the earth, and to him was giuen the key of the bottomlesse pit.
9:2 And he opened the bottomlesse pit, and there arose the smoke of the pit, as the smoke of a great fornace, and the sunne, and the ayre were darkened by the smoke of the pit.
9:3 And there came out of the smoke Locustes vpon the earth, and vnto them was giuen power, as the scorpions of the earth haue power.
9:4 And it was comanded them, that they should not hurt the grasse of the earth, neither any greene thing, neither any tree: but onely those men which haue not the seale of God in their foreheads.

Just thoughts that I thought I would write before I get into doing the kitchen…
