Richard has been told the cancer has now spread to his liver and lungs.
Yesterday I talked with him and I asked him, if he were to die today where would he go and why? He got choaked up, I then proceeded to explain how we have all sinned against God and that is why Jesus Christ came, took our sins upon Himself, and suffered the punishment and death we all deserved. That there is no repeat after me prayer but it is a prayer from the heart in which Godly sorrow brings repentance not to be repented of. And that we have all sinned and must be born again of the Spirit. That it is not visible or even physical but it is spiritual, example is we can not see the wind but we see the effects of the wind. When a person is born again a true change takes place. We just must believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Sonne of God and call upon Him.
He said he believes, that he has said prayers throughout the years. I went on to tell him that when we are forgiven we openly confess Jesus Christ as LORD and God as our Heavenly Father. That by this confession it comes from a heart of belief and out the mouth to tell others and never be ashamed by letting others know what God has done for you, for the world even, through His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. Because the enemy tries to tell us you do not need to tell others, hide it, but if we are ashamed of Him in front of man He will be ashamed of us in front of the Heavenly Father. I told him, I was going to leave him with those thoughts and for him to talk to the LORD for He will in no wise cast away anyone truly seeking Him.He went to Brittany’s for a few days which is wonderful, he needs to be surrounded by his family.Be blessed 🙌
