Looking At Watermelon Seeds Through The Eyes As A Believer In Christ.

I was thinking as I looked at the seeds I am drying out for next year and thought about us, seeds, and fruit.

Thinking about how we are like a seed when we are born again, how we die to self but are born again into a new creation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

I thought how that seed must be planted and die in order to spring forth into something so different than what was planted.

Example baptisim, we step in the water representing death, go under the water representing burial of self, and come out of the water representing a new resurrected life…

So…

Out of the dark cold ground shoots forth life, out of our dark cold life shoots forth light and joy from the LORD.

Then as that plant grows with the proper sunlight light, weeding, and water, a strong vibrant plant is established with care.

As we grow with the abundant amount of time spent with the LORD in prayer and fellowship, forsaking our sins, and reading the Word of God we too become vibrant parts of the Body established with great care.

Then after several weeks of care, flowers 💐 begin to grow off of the branches of the plant that is visible from afar.

The same with us, as we pray without ceasing, weed our lives from things not convenient, and continue to water our spirits daily with the Word of God, outwardly we begin to bring forth evidence that can be seen afar off not ever having to point them out.

Then later those flowers become fruit, much fruit if taken care of properly, some just a few but none the less fruit is produced. And the most phenomenal thing is, from one seed, much fruit, but in that fruit are 100’s of seeds!!!

I was thinking 🤔 how when we grow properly in the LORD by pushing forward with Him, forsaking things of the world, the character change that took place on the inside becomes evident on the outside, then as that persists, fruit will become evident and in that fruit much seed is manifested inside it, and that is to be sown and when just one seed takes root in good ground that exact same process starts over in someone else’s life!

With just one seed sown!

I don’t know but to me that is pretty cool to think about in that way lol
