Be able and willingly to tell others when you were wrong. Do not be quick to judge any one, but be quick to love all as you love yourself. Jesus said, we shall know them by their fruit. Be cautious and examine yourself to make sure you are not doing the same sin yet judging another. (Let me just say, sexual sin is sexual sin whether it be masterbation, adultery, homosexual, origies, swapping partners pre martial sex, etc) So be careful if you are pointing at others with your tongue of condemnation, yet, you yourself do it as well. Hypocrisy is the definition of that.
Never forget to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. Always remember that love will cover a multitude of sins. Many these days just want someone to listen, to real hear the words flowing from their heart, be that person. And when speaking choose your words carefully asking the Holy Spirit to speak through you to help bring comfort to the one in need.
Seek God always, because our very life and eternal soul depends on this. Ask God for wisdom and ask Him to empty you of everything you think you know and to teach you what you need to know.
Do not just read the Word only, but be a doer of the Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you to do this, He will lead you into all righteousnesse.
Judge not by the outward appearance but judge with righteousnesse. People may get offended when you speak the Word of God that is to be expected, but make sure you speak it with love and seasoned with salt.
We live in a world now just about the only thing that makes people blush is pedophilia, yet, they are trying to add the P on to the “alphabet ” gang.
Understand this, according to those who are in the world the greatest sin is speaking Truth.
Be prepared to be hated, be prepared to have even those of your own household, and flesh and blood relatives to turn away, because of the worldly, fleshly influence they have.
Be prepared to stand for the LORD Jesus Christ even when you may see others you thought would never walk away, does.
Sadly, there are many that know what they are doing is sin, yet, that pleasurable enjoyable feeling overrides them.
When someone steals from another they know it is wrong, but, if it gives them joy or pleasure they will justify it in their own mind.
A person knows it is wrong to commit adultery, but the excitement, pleasure, fun overrides their shame.
A person knows it is wrong to lie, but, telling the truth will only cause trouble or bring negativity so they will lie anyway justifying it.
Instead of judging, speak what is Written with love, but do not apologize for the Word of God, and do not argue.
Above all love. First love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. It is a hard thing, that is why we must always pray without ceasing for the Holy Spirit to keep us filled with the love of God that He shed abroad in our hearts.
I love you all,
Pamela
