When you come to the realization that you know nothing as you ought to know….is humbling…can also be defeating if we are unwilling to let go of pride and admit our error and ask God to forgive and teach us His Truth (which there is no other Truth but His).
A hard thing it is to admit to others, I was wrong and tell them how. Some will forgive, some will think you’ve gone mad, some will think you are deceived now, but you knew the truth before etc etc
I know this from personal experience. It is so hard to let go of sinful pride which comes before destruction and humble yourself before God and people. But this is so important and is necessary for not only your sake but the sake of others souls.
I used to teach and believe in dispensationalism, futurism, pre tribulation rapture, divorce and remarriage is acceptable, women leaders and pastors, fallen angels and human women procreating, etc etc I used to believe in an abundance of false doctrines and I would teach them!!! I would turn to scripture and “prove” it all to be true by reading into scripture and not reading how the scripture was actually written.
I read a lot, sometimes I share my own opinion when I read or I will write them on here or my website. But please understand and be fully aware these are my opinions, my thoughts and I am a fallible human being that has made, and sadly will continue to make mistakes.
I am not a teacher, I am still in need of being a taught. I am not a Prophet or Prophetess. Sometimes I will use this or my website for my thoughts as I study and may even change my mind as I am writing or after I had written.
Every thing you hear or read must always be tested, prayed about, looking to our Standard which is the Written Word of God. We can not go by feelings or emotionalism or carnal rationalization. Everything must be tested, the scriptures are spiritually discerned and truth be told our carnal minds cannot quite grasp the spiritual meaning so most will use their carnal mind which will make sense to all who do not have the Holy Spirit or to those who have not grown in their life in Christ as the Corinthians.
When God told Jeremiah to travel many miles to go bury a girdle that made no sense to the carnal mind. When God told Isaiah to walk naked before Israel that made no sense. When God to Ezekiel to make cakes out of dung 💩 that made no sense. When God told Hosea to marry a prostitute made no sense. When God tells us or shows us something, first make sure it is from God then do it or say it and let God work out of the rest.
At the end of our lives we will answer to God not man, and it is best to start now in this life to be obedient even when it makes no sense.
