I had ask the question a couple of months ago, if someone believes in false doctrine are they damned? As much as all of us want to say no, as long as they believe on the Name of Jesus Christ they are saved…some say as long as they believe in the Name of Jesus Christ and is baptised is saved, some say by their works they are saved…etc etc.

2:17 Euen so faith, if it hath not works, is dead being alone.

2:21 Was not Abraham our father iustified by works, when hee had offered Isaac his sonne vpon the altar?
2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
I believe by grace through faith we are saved and with that we turn from our sins because that is evidence of salvation. My opinion…
Ephesians
2:8 For by grace are ye saued, through faith, and that not of your selues: it is the gift of God:
2:9 Not of workes, lest any man should boast.
Yet, how many believe but still are holding to lies? What does the Holy Scriptures say?
2 Thessalonians
2:9 Euen him whose comming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signes, and lying wonders,
2:10 And with all deceiueablenesse of vnrighteousnesse, in them that perish: because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue a lye:
2:12 That they all might bee damned who beleeued not the trueth, but had pleasure in vnrighteousnes.
Love of the Truth…what is Truth? If they do not love the Truth which is the Word of God then how can they believe the Truth?

17:16 They are not of the world, euen as I am not of the world.
17:17 Sanctifie them through thy trueth: thy word is trueth.
Thy Word is Truth scriptures say…so how I am interpreting this, is if we love the Truth, we will believe the Truth, which is God’s Word. We may for a while believe false doctrine but as we continue to read and search the scriptures the Holy Spirit will open our understanding in scripture that before we were blinded from because of false doctrine and man’s traditions thst has influenced us.
