Many people I believe will regret speaking foolishly of things they do not understand…and some I believe have already committed the unpardonable sin without even knowing it…I have heard many oh so many making fun of speaking in tongues, I have heard some say it is demonic even…oh my my my if you do not understand the operation of the Holy Spirit and exactly WHO HE IS and HOW HE INTERCEDES FOR US…you would do well to hold your tongue from opinion and pray asking God for wisdom rather than call the works of the Holy Spirit the works of Belezebub…danger so very danger.
I do not believe all that speak in tongues are of the Holy Spirit but I will not say they are from the devil either…I do not want to speak evil ignorantly of something I may not understand.
Who makes intercession for us?
Romans 8:26 Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what wee should pray for as wee ought: but the spirit it selfe maketh intercession for vs with groanings, which cannot bee vttered.
8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what is the minde of the spirit, because he maketh intercession for the Saints, according to the will of God.
Who again is it that makes intercession for us?
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather that is risen againe, who is euen at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for vs.

Who knows the spirit of man? Who lives within you?
1 Corinthains 2:10 But God hath reueiled them vnto vs by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deepe things of God.
2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, saue the spirit of man which is in him? Euen so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
2:12 Now wee haue receiued, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that wee might know the things that are freely giuen to vs of God.
2:13 Which things also we speake, not in the words which mans wisedome teacheth, but which the holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spirituall.
2:14 But the naturall man receiueth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishnesse vnto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Who can understand the tongues you are speaking when praying? Does it say it is an earthly language? Or unknown unto man but known to God?
1 Corinthians 14:2 For he that speaketh in an vnknowen tongue, speaketh not vnto men, but vnto God: for no man vnderstandeth him: howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
14:3 But he that prophesieth, speaketh vnto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
14:4 He that speaketh in an vnknowen tongue, edifieth himselfe: but hee that prophesieth, edifieth the Church.
Apostle Paul stated he prayed with an unknown tongue, but in public with a known tongue.
14:18 I thanke my God, I speake with tongues more then you all.
14:19 Yet in the Church I had rather speake fiue words with my vnderstanding, that by my voyce I might teach others also, then ten thousand words in an vnknowen tongue.
Why are we to pray with the Holy Ghost which is a supernatural prayer language?~~
Jude 1:20 But yee beloued, building vp your selues on your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost,
1:21 Keepe your selues in the loue of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Iesus Christ vnto eternall life.
1:22 And of some haue compassion, making a difference:
1:23 And others saue with feare, pulling them out of the fire: hating euen the garment spotted by the flesh.
1:24 Now vnto him that is able to keepe you from falling, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glory with exceeding ioy,
1:25 To the onely wise God our Sauiour, be glory and maiestie, dominion and power, now and euer. Amen.
There are tongues that were spoken on Pentecost which was unknown to those speaking but known to those hearing. That is a part of the gift of tongues, but Apostle Paul says the gift of DIVERS KINDS OF TONGUES…earthly languages AND TONGUES OF ANGELS.
1 Corinthians 12:10 To another the working of miracles, to another prophecie, to another discerning of spirits, to another diuers kindes of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
1 Corinthians 13:1Though I speake with the tongues of men & of Angels, and haue not charity, I am become as sounding brasse or a tinkling cymbal.
Yes, it may sound like gibberish to others but those who have been given this gift. Is to be spoken at home in your prayer closet as the Holy Spirit of Christ intercededs for you, praying for things that you do not know to pray for! Tongues honestly is one of the most given of the gifts from the Holy Spirit. It is not a toy, it is not something you boast about, it is a gift given in order for the LORD to intercede whether it be in groanings that cannot be uttered or in the tongue of angels that no man knows but God only.
