Today’s Prophets, Prophetess, Seer, Oracles Of God?

I am amazed first off as to why I am able to post again which is 2 months beforei am supposed to…I was told September.

But no seriously during the time of suspension it has given me more time to really take in the Word of Truth. But during the suspension as well I have been inundated with many that call themselves prophets and prophetess…you read that correct they call themselves prophets or prophetess…that is a huge red flag because it reminds me of the woman Jezebel in the Church of Thyatira that called herself a prophetess, God did not but she called herself that title.

Revelation
2:20 Notwithstanding, I haue a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Iezebel, which calleth herselfe a Prophetesse, to teach and to seduce my seruants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed vnto idoles.

Did Elijah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and others go around and introduce themselves with a title before their name? Umm no they did not, did the Holy Spirit call them prophets? Yes! I would never have known Daniel or David to be prophets if it was not for the LORD Jesus Christ Himself calling them prophets and Peter under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew
24:15When yee therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, stand in the holy place, (who so readeth, let him vnderstand.)

Acts
2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speake vnto you of the Patriarch Dauid, that he is both dead & buried, and his sepulchre is with vs vnto this day:
2:30 Therefore being a Prophet, and knowing that God had sworne with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loines, according to the flesh, hee would raise vp Christ, to sit on his throne:

There are a couple that call themselves seers today’s as well or the oracle of God.

With that said, I have a question. Why or where does it say women are going to be a female Jeremiah in the last days? Or where does it say there will be a spirit of Elijah poured out on many, other than Elisha who got a double portion and then the one Jesus stated that did come as prophesied which was John the Baptist?

Matthew
11:12And from the dayes of Iohn the Baptist, vntill now, the kingdome of heauen suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.11:13For all the Prophets, and the Law prophecied vntill Iohn.11:14And if ye wil receiue it, this is Elias which was for to come.11:15Hee that hath eares to heare, let him heare.

Where does it say we need seers and oracles of God after the Holy Spirit was given to all those who, ask, believe and follow the LORD Jesus Christ?
Luke
11:13 If ye then, being euill, know how to giue good gifts vnto your children: how much more shall your heauenly Father giue the holy Spirit to them that aske him?

Doesn’t it say we need not a man to teach us because we have the Holy Spirit to teach us?

John
14:26 But the Comforter, which is the holy Ghost, whom the Father wil send in my name, he shal teach you al things, & bring al things to your remembrance, whatsoeuer I haue said vnto you.

1John
2:26 These things haue I written vnto you, concerning them that seduce you.
2:27 But the anointing which ye haue receiued of him, abideth in you: and yee need not that any man teach you: But, as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is trueth, and is no lye: and euen as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
2:28 And now, little children, abide in him, that when hee shall appeare, wee may haue confidence, and not bee ashamed before him at his comming.
2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that euery one which doeth righteousnesse, is borne of him.

Didn’t Jesus state that the Holy Spirit will even show us things to come? Did He say only a select few would be shown and then they are to tell others in videos and blogs?

I do know that after John the Baptist the Old Testament prophets ceased, that is the Word of God, yet, many claim to be from that line of prophets, or seers, or oracles of God.

Luke
16:16 The law and the Prophets were vntill Iohn: since that time the kingdome of God is preached, and euery man preasseth into it.

Matthew
11:9 But what went ye out for to see? A Prophet? yea, I say vnto you, and more then a Prophet.
11:10 For this is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
11:11 Uerely I say vnto you, Among them that are borne of women, there hath not risen a greater then Iohn the Baptist: notwithstanding, hee that is least in the kingdome of heauen, is greater then he.
11:12 And from the dayes of Iohn the Baptist, vntill now, the kingdome of heauen suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
11:13 For all the Prophets, and the Law prophecied vntill Iohn.
11:14 And if ye wil receiue it, this is Elias which was for to come.
11:15 Hee that hath eares to heare, let him heare.

I am not being snarky or rude, but I am thankful that for the time I was suspended that I had time to reflect, ponder, and listen to the Holy Spirit who will point to Jesus Christ and to the Word of God as our standard to compare all things.

So, what are prophets today like? Does the Holy Scriptures tell us? Does it call the Old Testament prophets? Are they to be over bearing? Arrogant? Hostile? Unloving? What does the Holy Scriptures have to say?

1 Corinthians

14:1 Follow after charitie, and desire spirituall giftes, but rather that yee may prophesie.14:2 For he that speaketh in an vnknowen tongue, speaketh not vnto men, but vnto God: for no man vnderstandeth him: howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.14:3 But he that prophesieth, speaketh vnto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.14:4 He that speaketh in an vnknowen tongue, edifieth himselfe: but hee that prophesieth, edifieth the Church.14:5 I would that yee all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is hee that prophesieth, then hee that speaketh with tongues, except hee interprete, that the Church may receiue edifying.14:6 Now brethren, if I come vnto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speake to you either by reuelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
