Galatians
5:16 This I say then, Walke in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that yee cannot doe the things that yee would.
5:18 But if yee be lead of the spirit, yee are not vnder the Law.
5:19 Nowe the workes of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adulterie, fornication, vncleannesse, lasciuiousnesse,
5:20 Idolatrie, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
5:21 Enuyings, murthers, drunkennesse, reuellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I haue also tolde you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherite the kingdome of God.
5:22 But the fruit of the spirit is loue, ioy, peace, long suffering, gentlenesse, goodnesse, faith,
5:23 Meekenesse, temperance: against such there is no law.
Hebrews
4:12 For the word of God is quicke and powerfull, and sharper then any two edged sword, PEIRCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOULE AND SPIRIT, and of the ioynts and marrowe, and is a DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART.
OUR SOULS IS THE SEAT OF OUR EMOTIONS, FEELINFS, WANTS, AND DESIRES hence…FLESH
The enemy knows what we like, what can tempt us, what can entice us. Now, if we are resolute in our minds we will fight every minute of our waking hours against the wiles of the devil and with our shield of faith we will quench those firey darts, but, when our body and mind sleeps our spirit is awake and during our sleep the enemy will try and plant those temptations, those desires, those lusts through dreams. He does this through lustful dreams, adulterous dreams, greed, desires etc. He will use people that are in witchcraft to actually work against you and plant the “tares” in your life.
I have so much more to study, research and understand. But now Hebrews Ch. 4:12 is much more clear than ever before…the Word of is like a two edged sword and it is so sharp it will divide asunder the soul and spirit! The lusts of the flesh!!! If we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh!!! But we must at all times walk in the Spirit and crucify this flesh which is the soulish realm the earthly realm!
1 Corinthians
15:45 And so it is written: The first man Adam was made a liuing soule, the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spirituall: but that which is naturall, and afterward that which is spirituall.
15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: The second man is the Lord from heauen.
15:48 As is the earthy, such are they that are earthy, and as is the heauenly, such are they also that are heauenly.
15:49 And as we haue borne the image of the earthy, wee shall also beare the image of the heauenly.
15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh & blood cannot inherite the kingdome of God: neither doth corruption inherite incorruption.
BOTTOMLINE IS THIS, GET THE WORD OF GOD IN YOU! AND WALK ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD!
Ephesians
6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, & in the power of his might.
6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the deuill.
6:12 For wee wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darknes of this world, against spirituall wickednes in high places.
6:13 Wherfore take vnto you the whole armour of God, that yee may be able to withstand in the euill day, and hauing done all, to stand.
6:14 Stand therefore, hauing your loynes girt about with trueth, and hauing on the breast-plate of righteousnesse:
6:15 And your feete shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace.
6:16 Aboue all, taking the shielde of Faith, wherewith yee shall bee able to quench all the fierie dartes of the wicked.
6:17 And take the helmet of saluation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
6:18 Praying alwayes with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseuerance, and supplication for all Saints,
6:19 And for mee, that vtterance may be giuen vnto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make knowen the mysterie of the Gospel:
