Sometimes I wonder why.. why LORD do you want me, 5x married and 5x divorcee to share the Truth about remarriage is adultery since obviously I was pretty much a professional adultress…but you see He gets all of the glory through someone like me sharing His mercy, His grace, and His redemption, He alone has made me a new creation in His Son Jesus Christ. Not only in my life, but in thousands of others lives as well.
Some people are indifferent, some people appreciative, some people asking questions, but pretty much for the most part people can become defensive and hostile.
I have been addressed by a few, but that is too be expected and is apart of sharing truth, that most in the pews will reject. But it is not my intention nor duty to convict, condemn, or convince anyone that remarriage, if your spouse is still alive, is adultery in God’s eyes and according to the Words Jesus Himself taught, while on this earth. I am to tell what the Word of God says, and continue to speak the Truth concerning this, until God says I can stop.
I am simply sharing scripture, doing it with love, and understanding because I was there, I was just like thousands of others that believed it was okay. I remember when the Holy Spirit opened this Truth up to me in June 2020 I cried!! Oh my goodness did I cry! So I began to search the Word to prove it was not true!!! The more I searched, the more I prayed please don’t let me be deceived, the more scriptures He brought before my eyes.
The other day I got a message from a sister in Christ that honestly I never would have expected from this sister…
She said, “Instead of trying to convince or conviction the world of sin, which by the way that’s what the Holy Spirit does not man. Or SO CALLED REMARRIAGE IS ADULTERY and turning from sin which is ALL WORK BASED, how about focus on what TRUE REPENTANCE IS! God is the only one that can grant repentance”…
This is exactly what she wrote to me and I am completely blown away at this. Are we not to share the Word of God anymore? Are we not to speak the Truth? Or are we to go about our merry way and let those who we love dearly, die and go to hell, not telling them the truth? No!
I was amazed that she stated, “so called remarriage is adultery ” what did Jesus plainly state? What did Apostle Paul reiterate? This is a heaven or hell issue, and I do not take this lightly, yet I am being told it is “a works based salvation” and to focus on TRUE REPENTANCE? TRUE REPENTANCE IS TURNING AWAY FROM WHAT GOD HATES AND TURNING TOWARD JESUS!
How will people know what is sin unless people tell them? And how are they able to tell them the Truth, if people such as this, and others try and muzzle the person sharing Truth?
I love this person dearly and I admit taken back by either her ignorance or her hostility I am unsure which it is at the moment.
I did not want to even talk about this again but God has burned this message in me so fervently and I must tell and warn others. Do you realize Jesus spoke of this 3 times I believe it was in Matthew Ch. 5, 15, and 19 can you imagine if Peter would have said, “Jesus chill out man, you told them once just lay off”! That pretty much sounds like blasphemy doesn’t it? Yet, people, mainly women, are trying to shut me up from speaking the very Words of Christ, whose Words we are to obey, because it ruffles their flesh!
People listen and listen well, if the Truth offends you and you claim to be a servant of Truth you have a serious problem. I am not angry, I am not offended, my heart is broken for you, and I pray that God will open your eyes to the Truth and that you will repent, which means you turn away from that sin that so easily besets you. That is TRUE REPENTANCE.
Romans
7:7 What shall wee say then? is the law sinne? God forbid. Nay, I had not knowen sinne, but by the lawe: for I had not knowen lust, except the Law had said, Thou shalt not couet.
7:8 But sinne taking occasion by the commaundement, wrought in me all maner of concupiscence. For without the Law sinne was dead.
7:9 For I was aliue without the Law once, but when the commandement came, sinne reuiued, and I died.
7:10 And the commandement which was ordained to life, I found to be vnto death.
7:11 For sinne taking occasion by the commandement, deceiued me, and by it slew me.
7:12 Wherefore the Law is holy, and the Commandement holy, and iust, and good.
7:13 Was that then which is good, made death vnto me? God forbid. But sinne, that it might appeare sinne, working death in mee by that which is good: that sinne by the Commaundement might become exceeding sinfull.
Romans
10:13 For whosoeuer shall call vpon the Name of the Lord, shall be saued.
10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they haue not beleeued? And how shal they beleeue in him, of whom they haue not heard? And how shall they heare without a Preacher?
10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written: How beautifull are the feete of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
10:16 But they haue not all obeyed the Gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath beleeued our report?
10:17 So then, faith commeth by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
