From Our Brother Mark Cowan

Sherry Lynn Szada-Olinger sent me this in email from Mark’s Facebook page: (I am not on Facebook any more haven’t been in months so I rarely get to hear from them much.

As of Saturday, Nov.6. I am back at home.
Kari and I want to thank you all that continue to pray for us in this time. We hope to keep an update going on what is happening as well as ask The Lord to bless all of you.
I find it rather interesting that the following message was the one I delivered less than 2 hours before the ambulance arrived.
In spite of circumstances presenting themselves as they do, I will continue to preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ as the Power of God unto salvation, with passion and compassion as long as God enables me to wherever I am able.

Please pray for those that hear the message of the Gospel that they may prepare themselves for eternity.
The biggest issue I am facing right now is that I can not handle my audio equipment without help, so The Lord needs to provide for this so Gospel In The Park can continue.

This is the Message delivered at Gospel In The Park. Open Air Preaching. Nov. 3. 2020.
MANY WILL CONTINUE TO TRY TO RUN AND HIDE , NOT HEARING THE APPROACHING FOOTSTEPS OF DEATH AND JUDGEMENT.
IT IS TO YOU THAT I DELIVER THIS MESSAGE.
I PROCLAIM IT AS THOGH IT WILL BE THE LAST MESSAGE YOU EVER HEAR ON EARTH AND KNOWING FULL WELL THAT IT COULD BE THE LAST ONE I DELIVER.
AND I WILL DO SO AS SUCH BECAUSE ONE MORE SOUL NEEDS TO HEAR THAT THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST IS STILL THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION.
>>Psalm 139. 1 O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether 5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. 7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. 13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. 17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. 19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. 20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. 21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

>>Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
>>Mark 2:17. Jesus saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

>>John 3:16-20. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

>>Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

>>Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
>>Jeremiah 23:24. Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.

>>Hebrews 3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

>>Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

>>Isaiah 65:12-14. 12…: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not. 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: 14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
>>Luke 16:22-28. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

I have often seen the statement “Depart from me I never knew you” quoted as being the most shocking or the most devastating words one will ever hear.
I have also seen it quoted “People on earth hate to hear the word repent but in hell they will desire to hear it one more time”.I have agreed with these statements, as I think most believers do.
However, I believe the Lord has shown me something deeper.
For sure it will be devastating to hear those words, “depart from me, I never knew you” but the Word of God speaks of eternal torment and a worm that never dies.

What would be more tormenting throughout eternity, or what would gnaw at a person more throughout eternity than to constantly hear, echoing in your ears, the words of every sermon you ever heard preached? Every invitation to come to Christ for salvation? Every opportunity for you to repent? Every plea and prayer that you heard for your eternal soul?
Without The Capability to Respond.

BUT WHAT WILL BE EVEN WORSE, EVEN MORE TORMENTING AND GNAWING…
Constantly hearing the sound of your own voice or the voice of your own thoughts screamingly repeating each time you said or thought that you did not need the message of the gospel. Every time you mocked the bible, the gospel or the preaching of the Word. Every time you encouraged others to forget about God, Jesus and the bible. Every excuse you ever uttered or thought, to excuse yourself from obeying the gospel. You will hear all these and more pursuing you, calling out to you. It will not be the voice of God or the voice of the preacher or messenger of God.
IT WILL BE YOUR OWN VOICE UTTERING YOUR OWN WORDS.
>>Matthew 12:37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

You’ve been running running for a long long time
You’ve been running running with no peace of mind
You regret the day you turned away and became…
a fugitive from GodWhy don’t you turn turn turn around why do you roam
Can’t you see God the Father waits to welcome you home
You were never meant to walk the path you’ve trod
How long will you run away…a fugitive from God.

You’ve been wasting wasting all your life in sin
You’ve been seeking seeking everything but Him
You can see the light but you still choose the night to remain…
a fugitive from God

God’s been searching searching for His long lost child
He’s been calling calling for a long long while
If you hear his voice make Him your choice don’t remain…
a fugitive from God.
