Study to show thyself approved, PLEASE get rid of every preconceived ideas that YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT! It is a lie!!! Go to the Father and ask Him to teach you the Truth! Stop picking and choosing scripture out of context and QUIT OVERLOOKING scriptures that show your sin and your deception! Accept ALL SCRIPTURE.
There are so many in this world that seem sincere, loving, passionate for the LORD even, yet, if they do not turn away from their sin they will hear the LORD say, “Depart from Me, I never knew you, ye that work iniquity”. Sin is sin, God has not changed, and I stake all on that! ALL!
Many in the church are living in adultery and do not even know it! Why? Because they have been taught lies and now when they read the Word of God they insert that teaching that excuses their SIN OF ADULTERY (mochiea)! Matthew does NOT CONDONE DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE IF YOUR SPOUSE CHEATED ON YOU OR IF YOU MARRIED AND DIVORCED BEFORE YOU KNEW THE LORD! God joined you two together as ONE FLESH EVEN WHEN YOU WERE NOT SERVING HIM! HE DID!
Your marriage was not a sin that is forgiven when you repent and are born again! Your marriage was a covenant that is a picture of Christ our Brudegroom and His Bride the Church! God throughout the Bible recognizes marriages even of the heathen! Why was John the Baptist beheaded? THINK PEOPLE!
Satan has beguiled the Bride of Christ into thinking divorce and remarriage is acceptable to God under certain circumstances like adultery, but IT DOES NOT SAY THAT! In Matthew it says FORNICATION (porneia) and MATTHEW was writing to the JEWISH PEOPLE who would have immediately known exactly what he was saying! Their thoughts would have went to the Law about finding out a virgin bride not being a virgin either BEFORE the consummation or AFTER the consummation. In the Law if the blood was not on the sheets that was proof of her uncleaness, immoral sexual conduct!
In the New Testament we read how Joseph being a righteous man was going to put away Mary quietly, he was GOING TO DIVORCE HER because she was no longer pure, a virgin he thought she had been immoral sexually! But God let him know that it was not so. So immediately He married her officially but did not consummate the marriage until after Jesus was born and her days of purification was over!
If you have been married before and your ex spouse IS STILL ALIVE and you are remarried you are living in adultery in Gods eyes! Not only that but if your current spouse was never married prior then youhave caused them to commit adultery! That is the Word of God! It is not my interpretation it is written very plain in scripture, Jedus spoke it then, Matthew, Mark and Luke penned it and Paul confirmed it!
Most do not even realize this, but, Jesus had to come and die in order to make Israel a Bride! Why? Because, God divorced her! And GOD HAD TO DIE in order for JESUS TO MARRY HER AGAIN LEGALLY!!!!
But God being eternal, Creator of all, cannot die, oh, but if He came in the FLESH and DIE, which He did! Read Paul’s writings! Study them search them pray ask for wisdom! Jesus Christ is God and He was man as well!
The Cross of Christ was for many things our redemption, ours salvation, was not all of it.
If God Almighty could not marry a divorced bride because she played the harlot without breaking the Law then how on earth do you believe you are justified? How?
Ok I understand I got sidetracked or at least that is what you are thinking but it is not so really. There are many, many people who believe and live a life they believe is glorifying the LORD, yet, still are in the midst of adultery and believe in the pre tribulation rapture. Why? Because they have been indoctrinated so deep they cannot see the truth when it comes to the sin still in their lives. I was one of them, I have been married 5 times and divorced 5 times. When I was with hubby number 3 I was born again, I believed in a pre tribulation rapture and I began to preach and also be the youth Pastor in a small Church. Later, I began to preach in other Churches as an evangelist. I did not last long in the faith which was actually a blessing, that I did not realize until last month June 2020.
How can that be a blessing you wonder? Because I was living in ADULTERY, my first husband was still alive! And second I was teaching and preaching a doctrine of lies concerning the pre tribulation rapture. And thirdly, I had NO BUSINESS teaching MEN in the Church! If I had not fallen away for a season it is untelling where or what condition I would be in today! I would still be deceived most likely, and still living in an adulterous lifestyle, teaching men and women leading them to hell! You begat what you are I believe and those who were under me are either in adulterous relationships themselves, dead, still believing in false doctrine, or backslid.
Why was it important to mention the above before talking about the deception of the pre tribulation rapture? If we have been deceived into believing Jesus did not mean what He said in the Gospel concerning marriage, divorce, and adultery then it is easier for satan to throw more twisted scripture appealing to our flesh for us to accept as well. The pre tribulation rapture doctrine appeals to our flesh of not having to go through the tribulation or through the fire in order to be purified. But that is not so. Now let’s continue…

In 1585 A.D., Francisco Ribera, a priest in the Society of Jesus came up with a doctrine we now call FUTURISM. This doctrine was created for the sole purpose of protecting the Papacy.
Ribera spun his tale around the 70 weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27). He said that the first 69 weeks of Daniel’s prophecy ended with the baptism of Jesus in 27 A.D.. He said that the 70th week wouldn’t take place until the end of the age. He said that the antichrist would be a single person (not the papal system) and wouldn’t rule until the very end of time.
Today this doctrine is known as the Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory.
Of course Ribera’s doctrine was NOT received by the reformers of his day and it was soon forgotten.
Then in 1826, Dr. S.R. Maintland, the librarian to the Archbishop of Canterbury, discovered Ribera’s book in his library. He translated it and published it in 1826. Dr. Maintland also wrote a prophetic pamphlet showing his contempt for the Reformation (Martin Luther). He did not believe that the papacy was the predicted System of Antichrist or Beast of Daniel or the Apocalypse (Revelation).
