Two wrongs do not make a right, does it?
I heard this from Elizabeth Elliot when asked about women being leaders in the Church.
It was like a facepalm to the forehead, a light going off so too speak! EXACTLY!
THAT IS THE TRUTH!
God, GOD put the order in place, not Apostle Paul, not a man but God!
The order is:
God the Father
God the Son
MAN
WOMAN
Wives and Husbands
Eph 5:22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
Eph 5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
1Co 11:3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
1Ti 2:9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;
1Ti 2:10 but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.
1Ti 2:11 Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.
1Ti 2:12 But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
1Ti 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
A woman IS NOT to usurp a man in the leadership role EVER! Not in marriage, not in the home and certainly NOT IN THE CHURCH!
Men of a good report are to be the shepherds i.e. pastors, the overseers not a woman!
I have heard throughout the years if women did not step up then no one would have ran the Church because men stopped being in charge then eventually quit going to church!
Did God make a mistake in choosing men instead of women to be overseers? NO! But women seem to think they being in a position over the men is a better idea. Those who have appointed themselves Pastors over a Church usurped God’s authority then man’s authority.
1Co 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.
1Co 14:34 Let the wives be quiet in the assemblies, for it has not been permitted for them to be talking except in submission, as the law also says,
1Co 14:35 if they desire to learn anything. “Let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is shameful for a wife to be talking in the assembly.”
1Co 14:36 What!? Was it from you that the word of God went out? Or did it come to you alone?
Women are not to interrupt services asking questions, they are to be silent and learn quietly. If they have questions ask their husbands at home who is to be the spiritual leaders of the home as well!
If a woman does talk in Church meaning their testimony, read v. 34 she is to do it in SUBMISSION! She must be submitted under the authorities of the Church.
Two great examples are Corrie Ten Boom and Elizabeth Elliot. They both went around the world sharing their own testimonies and encouraging others with the Word of God and their testimony. They never usurped the man’s authority but were submitted to them as they were submitted unto the LORD Jesus Christ.
Yes, men and women are equal in SALVATION.
Gal 3:26 For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29 If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.
People have tried to use these verses to justify women usurping God’s Word and placing themselves over men. Those verses ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT ASSUMING AN OFFICE IN CHURCH! They are about SALVATION! The way of salvation is the same for EVERYONE! JEW, GREEK, MALE, FEMALE, RICH, OR POOR!

There were women disciples, Jesus’ own mamma was one. But there were not WOMEN APOSTLES which are the leaders, there were not PASTORS which are the elders of the congregations that gathered in homes.
Yes in a Christian marriage there is to be equal submission as unto the LORD.
As BELIEVERS IN CHRIST!
Eph 5:21 subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
The following verses now clarify between husband and wife:
Eph 5:22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
Eph 5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
Rules for Christian Households
Col 3:18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Col 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them.
Tit 2:5 to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed.
1Pe 3:1 In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word;
We women, have been used in vital important roles in the Church from Christ Jesus to Apostle Paul to Apostle John but NEVER IN LEADERSHIP ROLES!
Read these verses~
(Acts 1:12–14; 9:36–42; 16:13–15; 17:1–4, 10–12; 18:1–2, 18, 24–28; Rom. 16; 1 Cor. 16:19; 2 Tim. 1:5; 4:19), not one of these are in leadership over grown males.
That is confusion and gives the right to blasphemy GODS WORD!

The marriage covenant was designed by GOD HIMSELF as the picture of Jesus Christ our Bridegroom and the Church His BRIDE!
Do you even think the BRIDE (church) WILL USURP HER BRIDEGROOM (Jesus)? NEVER!
So why on earth are women taking the leadership roles from the husband? Why are women in leadership roles over men in the Church? WHY?!
Do you foresee Jesus our Bridegroom divorcing His CHURCH and remarrying another? Do you see Jesus committing adultery? So why are you?
Women HAVE taken over the roles of the leader in the Church, the leader in the home, the leader in the marriage they are creating confusion and that is not of GOD!
It seems to me that WOMEN are the ones that are always trying to find loopholes in the Word of God to justify remarriage which IS ADULTERY if the first ex-spouse is not dead, and is the leader in the Church, by saying if they don’t do it men won’t.
Who in truth are you serving?
The God of Creation, the God of the Bible has set forth pretty clear, non-confusing commandments, not suggestions for divorce and remarriage and for leadership in the Church.
We not only are given very specific roles, and we are to walk in those roles. Not do what “we feel” what, “we think” but what HE SAYS! IT IS WRITTEN!
I know with this study I will take a nose dive down with popularity namely with women.
But I am at that point in my walk with Christ, I cannot care about your feelings, because your soul is more important.
I am a woman, I used to preach, I used to teach men and women! I WAS IN REBELLION as well! I was even in adultery on my THIRD MARRIAGE while my first husband was still alive!
This is not being legalistic this is reading the Word of God AS IT IS WRITTEN and having the Holy Spirit open it up as God gives you wisdom. THESE THINGS ARE WRITTEN IN THE NEW TESTAMENT and we are to obey what is written therein!
Obedience is better than sacrifice, and Jesus said IF you love me you WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS!
Do you realize that the angels watch us? The Heavenly and the fallen angels, both they watch and observe. So in truth, if we claim to be a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ there is not a second in our life we are not being observed, not only by the Father but also the angels. What report will they have concerning your walk?
