There are two people who has touched my spirit deeply, with just a partial bit of their testimonies.

This is about the first person.
Corrie Ten Boom
She was a woman from Holland, she was a gentle and kind Christian woman. She was a watchmaker (the first woman) with her daddy. Her family and herself loved the Jewish people dearly, this love and faith in Christ drove them to help the Jews during the war. One night there was a knock on their door, and a man stood there looking desperate and pitiful. He told Corrie a very heart wrenching story about his wife that had been arrested because she was helping the Jews. He told her that his wife was very sick and the bail was 600.00. Corrie counted her money she only had 200.00 I believe she said. So, she went around to all her friends urging them to help this man’s loving wife.

The next day, I believe is when he returned, she was able to hand him 600.00. He left, and a few hours later the Gestapo busted through the door and Corrie, Betsy who was her older sister, her daddy, and brother were all arrested.

Ten days after the arrest her daddy died in jail, her sister Betsy died 10 years later in the concentration camps they were in, and her brother after being let out was very sick and died soon after release. The only survivor after 10+ years in concentration camps was Corrie Ten Boom.

Not long after her release a woman she knew asked her if she knew how her and her family was caught? She said she did not. The woman told her that man that claimed his wife was arrested worked for them as a spy, and that his wife was not sick or in jail. He seen a way to get money in the situation and took it. Corrie said her heart filled up with hatred for this man, and unforgiveness. She said that he was on death row at a certain place. Corrie cried out to the Father she did not try to hide anything. She was honest and blunt with Him Father, I HATE HIM I CAN’T FORGIVE HIM ON MY OWN! I NEED YOU!
He spoke: Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

That verse would not be the last time our Father would remind her about. When she realized that she could not forgive or love anyone on her own, that kind of love and forgiveness could only be through the Holy Spirit! The moment she realized that, then a love came into her heart for that man so much, so she sat and wrote him a letter.

She wrote this man on death row, introducing herself. She told him how her daddy died 10 days after the arrest, her sister Betsy 10 years in the concentration camp with her and then she died, and her brother died from a sickness that he had gotten while locked up. She told him that when she first found out it was because of him that she hated him greatly in her heart and could not forgive him. But that she serves A GREAT GOD her Heavenly Father that was so much greater than her hate, and she went on to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with this man.
She did not really expect to hear from him, after all he was about to be killed. But she received a letter from him a few days before his execution. He told her that her letter pierced his heart, and her honesty showed him that there is a God and that he cried out to Jesus Christ and he is now born again, and he thanked HER!!!
Her witnessing and reaching out was used in order for the Father to draw this man destined for hell, to His Son Jesus by His Holy Spirit to be saved from his sins and to be forgiven!
Oh, the tears that flowed from my inner most being as I heard this little lady share this!!! She said she too was overwhelmed that the Father would use little ole her in such a great way!!
Brothers and sisters the day we live in is extremely hard yes, but do not let it make you hard in heart.
Ask the Father to search your heart and expose any hatred you may have buried, any unforgiveness you may not even know about. And when He does show you, don’t run away from it, but face it.
Tell our Father about the hatred you have for the adulterous spouse, the person that shot your momma, the suicide of your daddy because your momma was cheating, the last dollar stolen to feed your kids, the drunk driver that stole the life of your child. WHATEVER your pain, whatever your hurt, whatever hatred and unforgiveness TELL HIM! He will not run from you! He will not hate you! He wants complete honesty, He wants to heal you, but you can only heal if you are willing to admit to Him the truth!
