A number of years ago, I had the privilege of teaching at a school of ministry. My students were hungry for God, and I was constantly searching for ways to challenge them to fall more in love with Jesus and to become voices for revival in the Church. I came across a quote that sounds like a short version of the history of Christianity, and it goes like this: Christianity started in Palestine as a fellowship; it moved to Greece and became a philosophy; it moved to Italy and became an institution; it moved to Europe and became a culture; it came to America and became an enterprise. Some of the students were only 18 or 19 and I wanted them to understand and appreciate the import of the last line, so I clarified it by adding, “An enterprise. That’s a business.”
After a few moments Martha, the youngest student in the class, raised her hand. I could not imagine what her question might be. I acknowledged Martha’s raised hand, “Yes, Martha.” She asked such a simple question, “A business? But isn’t it supposed to be a body?” I could not envision where this line of questioning was going, and the only response I could think of was, “Yes.” She continued, “But when a body becomes a business, isn’t that a prostitute?”
>>2 Peter 2:1-3, 12-15, 17-19. 1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
If you study the nature of a pimp, you can then understand the nature of these false preachers.
A pimp is a weak, emaciated effeminate man who, because of his own weak and perverted nature, has refused to be productive on his own. He has no work ethic, he lives as a parasite and leaches off of women and men who see themselves as rejected, lonely and unable to function as whole people in society. Their assurance of his approval is directly linked to their ability to give him more money. They work themselves to death in order to bring him material possessions, presenting those things to him as their god.

These Pimping Preachers employ “False Doctrine” which manifest’s itself as twisted man made doctrine that is usually taken out of context to coerce the flock to give more money for a ministry.
Everyone familiar with the “Pimping Game” knows that in order to become an accomplished pimp. The pimp has to gain the trust of his prostitutes (deceived Christians who give with wrong motivations). The deceived and immature believer thinks that this “anointed pimp” is the source of blessings and only through the pimp/preacher is he or she safe from harm. In other words, only through the anointing of this pimping preacher can the blessings of God flow.
They usually will give you a point of contact: handkerchiefs, miracle oil, special anointed spring water or some small trinket, even simply placing your hands on the television.
Of course, this is all for a price; or as they like to say, a love gift or a seed that will bring about 100 fold blessing.
I am convinced that these conniving pimps are the same type of cunning moneychangers that Jesus drove out of the temple during his ministry.
I often wonder why we Christian seem so susceptible to the tricks of these pimping preachers.
Why do we seem to get played on such an extensive magnitude?
(1). Pimping Preachers appeal to the fleshly carnal nature of man; with promises of wealth and prosperity; not spiritual prosperity but material (tangible) prosperity.
Under this system, sowing a seed and Tithing becomes a prerequisite for blessings. Unfortunately, when the Christian fails to give money, he or she is soon jolted into a counterfeit reality that they are “Robbing God”. They are then looked down upon as unspiritual and under a curse and not allowed certain leadership roles within the church. Favoritism becomes evident in the church because Pimping Preachers would not dare preach against those who provide his livelihood. These Pimps are not concerned with the spiritual well-being of the flock, so preaching repentance is not a primary objective. Instead, planting a seed and tithing prosperity doctrine are preached constantly where a “SEED” becomes “Money or Mammon” instead of the “Word of God” and Tithing becomes a “Mandatory Obligation” on Christians instead of freewill “Gift” from the Heart motivated by Love of Christ.
Believe me, Jesus is not sitting in heaven with a calculator counting how much you put in a collection plate. He is more concerned with our hearts being changed.
(2). Fear. If you even consider that a “Christian” leader is false or think of labeling this leader as false, you immediately freeze with panic. You think of being cursed with a curse for even having the thought. You dismiss your critical thinking and intellect because this man or woman is on a higher plane than you. “Touch not my anointed” is what you incorrectly apply to the thought and wipe it away. Subsequently, this fear is passed on to anyone you encounter that have the same questions, thoughts or criticisms. This fear is expressed ranging from phrases like “Let’s just pray” to “You need to repent before you judge so that judgment does not come to you!” or some other nonsense that questions the other person’s sanity not valuing his/her own life.
(3). Pride. You don’t accept the reality that you have been deceived. You have said things like, “I know the hand of God when I see it, and God’s hand is on this person”.

Pride will not allow you to consider that these past, how many years have been futile.
That the things you say you learned or gained from this man is basically garbage. That you need to get back on the Potter’s Wheel and allow him to make you ALL .. OVER… AGAIN. To re-commit your life to Jesus Christ and to him alone with no obligation of loyalty to a man. There is no shame in this. There is actually a freedom, peace and liberty. For He that the Son sets free is free indeed. Whether you admit it or not, you have been imprisoned to not see the outside world. It is up to you, however, to open the door. In order to do this, you have to push Pride aside that is guarding it.
(4). I think another reason is, because we Christians are told over and over again that we must love and love is willing to overlook faults. However, Love that is structured without truth is sentimentalism and can be manipulated. We should not confuse love with emotionalism.
Love is a commitment to truth and the highest good of others. Sometimes that means bringing a brother back to the truth.
>>James 5:19,20. Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
