Pruning Season

🙏I pray this encourages you if you are in the midst of a 🕊pruning season:

This message was already on my heart the moment I opened my eyes this morning (thought of a few people in particular)

Then after bible reading this morning, as Hubs and I were talking – He basically broke out in a “sermonette” on the issue ~ that was my confirmation from the Lord to share what is on my spirit…

There is a pruning going on and it is very painful to many

God likens us to trees in Psalm 92 – We are to be grounded and fruitful like Palm Trees (that study from 2016 I will put in the comments below) We are to grow as tall and strong as the Cedars of Lebanon.

So – I pulled this from a gardening website on pruning trees “And by pruning a fruit tree, you practically increase its chances of bearing great quality fruit. The Stimulation Factor. When you prune trees you are effectively stimulating more growth”

The MORE pruning ~ The MORE fruit!!!

If this is true in the physical.. then HOW much MORE in the spiritual with our Heavenly Father pruning us?
(So, if you are being pruned – REJOICE!! The Father wants you to bear much fruit!!)

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John 15:2

Hubs said, “STAY in the Word during your pruning ~ it is your 💦💧💦LIVING water and your fertilizer”
It is the Scripture that has POWER 🕊🙌

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38 💦💧💦🕊

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5

If you feel as though you are being pruned like a tree right now ~ you can do NOTHING but abide in Him 🕊🙌

Thank, Praise & Rejoice for the pruning and for the GROWTH and FRUIT that will come forth from it ~ You are being pruned so that you will GROW and bear MUCH FRUIT
