My Sister Sharlene

Pamela JoyousNJesus McDonald

Corrie Ten Boom had her sister Betsy and I had my sister Sharlene.

Just listening to her testimony and how her sister helped to keep her on track and focused, is how my sister was worth me. Others had wonderful relationships with her, she was genuine, humble, and loving she accepted people for who they were.

Yet no one had the same relationship as her and I had, that cannot be duplicated.

Impossible.

I never realized how blessed I was to be born in the family I was, and to have Sharlene as my older sister, teacher, confidant, best friend, even part time mom.

She is with my daughter Savannah Rose and my great niece Bella (her grsnddaughter) that I do not doubt.

One day I will be reunited with them, and even though my heart aches and my mind wanders thinking about them.

Jesus is the One I want to see first, Jesus is the One I desire to be with for all of eternity.

  • Jesus Christ consume me with your Holy Spirit in my whole being with your love, gentleness, kindness and forgiveness towards others.
