This is prevalent for today… We are called to be salt & light.. We walk this walk daily with the mindset of being the light but we are called to be salt as well and must obey.
Characteristics of salt:
it’s rough (for both parties)
it’s abrasive
it stings, especially if inserted directly into a wound. However,
it cleanses that wound
it disinfects
it renews
If we are walking in love and genuinely love on another then sometimes we gotta be the salt. They will benefit and so will we. Pray to be someone’s salt; pray that someone will be salt for you one day.
Let’s be what we are called to be – Jesus told us both for a reason. 🙌💕
