“Holidays” Of Paganism – Valentines Day

This won’t be popular but I have never cared about being popular or being part of the crowd…

Many Christians cannot name The Feasts of the LORD (His appointed times) much less tell you their fulfillment (or future fulfillment) and significance.
They would also be unable to tell you the pagan origins and traditions of the “holidays” they do celebrate – they would only be able to rattle off the “commercialized, Laodicean, Nicolaitan” explanation of the holiday as they have been programmed to do.

We as Christians are called out of the world – to be separate (2 Corinthians 6) when I read this, it doesn’t sound like it’s “just a suggestion”

I think of the Waldenses and other faithful martyrs who we uncompromising, who would not bend – I can only imagine the sadness of their faces and loss for words to see a compromised Christianity that blends right in with the world just as the Nicolaitans instructed them to do. Jesus HATES this btw – it compromises with the world. (Revelation 2:15-16) He instructs the Laodicean church to anoint their eyes with the TRUTH (Revelation 3:18)

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children

When you are celebrating and participating in Valentine’s day – you are honoring the 1st family of the occult (Nimrod, Tammuz, Semiramis) Cupid son of Venus is Tammuz son of Semiramis representing the “cupid” and cakes, candies and spring flowers were taken to the Babylonian temple and offered to the “moon goddess” to reawaken her for spring. There is nothing godly or Biblical regarding this “holiday”. Venus, daughter of Jupiter, is really Semiramis herself. Jupiter is the head deity (false god), a sun god – Nimrod, Semiramis’ husband is considered a sun god in the Babylonian mysteries.

Valentines in ancient Rome – this apparently commercial and consumerism-oriented holiday takes its roots from a very old pagan festival. It used to be celebrated by the ancient Romans under the name of Lupercalia. In the Old Roman religion, there was a festival called Lupercalia, which took place between the 12th and 15th of February. It is a very ancient festival who comes from the Etruscan civilization (800-264 BC). It was celebrated across Italy and Gaul.
Lupercalia honored the god Lupercus, who is the wolf-aspect of the god Faunus. Faunus, the oldest god of the Romans, is the typical horned-god figure and is commonly associated with the Greek god Pan.
BEFORE you say “We are taking the “holiday” back!” (this is a typical Christian response to most of these hellidays) HOW can you take something back that started out as pagan and was NEVER godly, to begin with?! It is paganism!!! It never belonged to you so… learn NOT the way of the heathen, touch NOT the unclean thing and be ye separate.
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it
