Above all of our body, the tongue is what the LORD will use the most.
So we must get it under control, but as James said no man can tame it!
It is only by the Grace of God and the Holy Spirit in us are we even possible to stay silent!
If we think for one minute we are spiritual or religious and gossip, backbite, whisper, or murmur then turn around and speak in tongues, prophesy, or preach we think that is of GOD?!
IT IS NOT!!
We are deceiving your OWN SELF!!
WE NEED TO WAKE UP!
Read James 1 our religion is WORTH NOTHING IF YOU CANNOT CONTROL YOUR TONGUE!
James 1:26-27
26If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. 27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
I need to submit to God, learn to be quiet and have a meek spirit only He can do this work in me and only if I surrender my all.
I do not want to be a Pharisee and create people who will be two-fold children of hell than myself.
