Forgiveness

blog-5-ways-to-forgive-when-you-cant-forget-15130392458164 Please read these verses about forgiveness, this is so important that many have overlooked, or bypassed what Jesus is really saying because of being taught differently.

The servant that owed A LOT was forgiven by his lord for that debt. BUT that servant refused to forgive his servant for their debt!! Read EXACTLY what Jesus tells us that will happen to us if we do the same thing!!!

Matthew 18:

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

(Romans 12:14-21)

21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. 24And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. 25But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 27Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. 28But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. 29And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 30And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. 31So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. 32Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: 33Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 34And his lord was wroth, and DELIVERED HIM TO THE TORMENTORS, TILL HE SHOULD PAY ALL THAT WAS DUE UNTO HIM. 35SO LIKEWISE SHALL MY HEAVENLY FATHER DO ALSO UNTO YOU, IF YE FROM YOUR HEARTS FORGIVE NOT EVERY ONE HIS BROTHER THEIR TRESSPASSES.

Matthew 6:14-15

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 5:23-26

23Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

When we are born again, forgiven for our sins against God, we are to forgive every single person that has done wrong to us!! IF we do not according to Jesus Christ what we WERE FORGIVEN FOR WE WILL ONCE AGAIN BE JUDGED FOR!!!! That is exactly what Jesus said, that is the Word of God and this is so very serious! You cannot read what is written any other way than it is written.

Search your heart, ask the LORD to search your heart. Do you instantly get upset when someone’s name is mentioned? Do you feel a prick in your heart if you see someone? Do you feel anger when you find out someone was blessed with a new job or something? Do you gloat over heartache or failed marriage by someone that hurt you?

I cannot express this more serious than what Jesus did. Just as the lord of that servant CHOSE to forgive and forget his debt so does the Gather, but just like the lord of that servant brought back that debt because the servant would not forgive LIKEWISE SO WILL OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!!!
